Sixth Post- Adriftus In Time.
Below is a Poem I wrote, called "Adriftus In Time"
I hope you enjoy, whoever reads this.
************
1: If I could but redeem the time, so much would I change.
If I could but live again the days gone by, so much would I do differently, so much would not be the same.
2: Time flows forward, and we all change within it, but the flow and tide of time has been shaped in part by us.
We must remember our world, and how we interact, and our legacy we must recall, and how our lives is impact that claim.
3: We sit upon a sea of time, forward ever moving, and egret build up and we do know how we have erred and failed.
As I look back I see what I could have done so differently, and know that what once went wrong should have been different, but now the past is as a picture in a frame.
4: So here we stand, forever more, in wonderment of this.
In awe we sand and see the things which truly ought have been, but weren’t, because our own passions we could not tame.
5: And here we stand, in a wrecked word, due only to our own fault, and here we stand eternally, upon the great divide.
we look back and wonder what could have been if only if, and we look back and see so much that went against what we know should have been, and to others and ourselves we cast or the regrets the blame.
6: Dream then though that impossible dream, of the past and of the future. Scripture does say that what is past is and what is to be has already been, and God requires that which is past.
So perhaps, just yet perhaps, we shall have our chance again, to amend that which we did in error, and make right what once went wrong, so no longer we must live in shame.
7: Holy then is Gods hand, and we wonder if he can, for all things are possible with him, then perhaps surly he can, that most impossible dream of all, to go back , and do again what we should have done before.
If only if we wonder then, and reams do come and go, fleeting in the night we see, as wind comes too and fro, and in that dance we see forever, and knowing in the end, it is only God, who will endure, in his most Holy Name.
8:We look back, and we look forward, and know what we should have been, and wonder what, if only if, could have only been.
But forward we press on, and forward we must go, ever flowing ever changing in the seas of time, knowing that which was is what made us healthy and whole or halt and lame.
9: As we look back then we see all that has occurred, and how it has been so much of an effect on us, and how we have infused it.
We see in those turbulent times what has been a massive symbiosis, of how each thing interacted, and the story of how we now stand, and the story of how what we are now became.
10:We see the drifting silt of our actions, and how we kicked up he sand, muddying the waters, and rearranging the scene, until it differs truly.
As wee how the glaciers melt, and how time is freed up upon us, ad how form that which was once trapped, we have built our kame.
11:That which we see comes fourth as is, and we know eternal forces at work do oversee, and we know that we see time adrift, and see it ever more unroll onto an uncertain destiny.
We watch as that which comes about arises out of that great tide, and yet like a refiners fire, is shaped by forces seen and unseen, setting all of time into an inferno, until all the world is engulf in flame.
12: We stand, looking back, into the hour of our fame.
We stand, looking back, and yet forward, and wondering what could have been, and hat will be, and dreaming of the future, the past, and seeing it all one more the same, and knowing, simply knowing, and yet wondering, how from whence we came.

When we leave this world the only thing we will take with us, is the relationships we've made here on Earth.
Time is also a funny thing. I can't fathom it, let alone try to explain it?
Nice Thoughts. Later Holmes. feeno
Thanks.
